Who operates SPILL
SPILL is operated by 1001545511 ONTARIO LIMITED ("SPILL," "we," "us," or "our"), an Ontario corporation.
Data we process
SPILL does not require a name or email account for local play. The app creates a random installation identifier and a separate purchase identifier so purchases and consumable inventory can be validated without a traditional user profile.
Depending on the features you use, SPILL processes:
- Random installation, authentication, and purchase identifiers
- App version and platform when the installation is registered
- Purchase product IDs, transaction status, entitlement state, and inventory operations
- IP address and request metadata handled by network and infrastructure providers
SPILL does not sell personal information or use it for third-party behavioural advertising. The current app does not send gameplay analytics to a third-party product-analytics service.
Data kept on your device
Player names, game setup, local history, preferences, and cached game content stay on your device. Installation credentials are stored in the iOS Keychain. Other app data uses ordinary app storage.
Player names and prompt responses are not sent to SPILL's backend. Deleting the app removes ordinary app storage; Keychain entries can persist across reinstall according to iOS behaviour.
Camera, microphone, and media
If you choose the recording feature, iOS asks for camera, microphone, and permission to save to your photo library. Recordings are captured and processed on your device. SPILL does not automatically upload recordings to its servers.
You control whether a recording is saved or shared through iOS. Obtain consent from everyone who appears or can be heard. You can deny or revoke permissions in iOS Settings and continue using non-recording gameplay.
SPILL does not request precise GPS location for gameplay. Network providers can infer an approximate location from an IP address during ordinary network operation.
Purchases and inventory
Apple processes App Store payments. SPILL does not receive your card or bank details. RevenueCat receives the app-generated purchase identifier and purchase information needed to validate entitlements.
A Cloudflare-hosted service stores purchase events, grants, refund or revocation status, consumable inventory, timestamps, and the app-generated installation identifier. These records prevent duplicate grants and keep purchase state consistent across reinstalls.
Service providers
- Apple: app distribution, purchases, refunds, device permissions, and platform services
- RevenueCat: purchase receipt validation and entitlement management
- Cloudflare: API, database, and service security
Each provider processes data under its own terms and privacy policy.
Retention and deletion
Local gameplay data remains until you reset or delete it, subject to iOS Keychain behaviour. Backend purchase and inventory records are retained as needed to provide purchases, prevent duplicate grants, handle refunds or disputes, comply with law, and secure the service.
To request deletion of an installation record, email privacy@spillthegame.com. We may need the in-app installation identifier to locate anonymous records. Some transaction records may be retained when legally required or necessary to prevent fraud.
Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, restrict, or obtain a copy of personal information, or to object to certain processing. Email privacy@spillthegame.com with your request. You may also complain to your local privacy regulator.
Age and children
SPILL is designed for adults and is not directed to children. Alcohol should only be used by adults who are of legal drinking age in their location.
